Fire Department

The Town of West Milford Fire Department's mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life for all citizens and visitors from the adverse effects of natural and man-made emergencies. 

Our goal is to provide a protection program through a cost-efficient approach to emergency response, fire code application and public fire education.

The West Milford Community Volunteer Fire Department provides protection for 77 square miles in the southern end of Harrison County. Not only for the town of West Milford but also serves the surrounding communities of Duck Creek, Laurel Park, Laurel Valley, Good Hope, Kincheloe areas of Harrison County. The fire department works tirelessly to protect our communities. The fire department is lead by Fire Chief John Elko.
